i know what it does, and i know the use of it i just want to know in what application can it be usefull in when you have pedals such as eq's, boosts, line drivers, distortion boxes.
im running a mxr 10 band eq, a zvex box of rock and a mxr cae line booster, into a dual terror, can someone explain to me where would the tube screamer go in this?

It would go into your Fender :D . I don't see why you'd use it with a Box of Rock, or with an Orange at all for that matter.

It's just a different flavour overdrive. Pay your money & take your choice. All depends what style you're playing as to whether it will stay on your board.

Have you tried one? Do you like it? More than what you've got?

Most overdrive are loosely based around Tubescreamers, so it doesn't have to say Tubescreamer on the can to sound like one.

Well... no point trying to fit one in for the sake of it.

If you're happy with your setup, leave it alone!

My opinion is they are best used with Fender amps and other Fender based circuits to push an amp on the verge of breakup to add more drive and some midrange. Also I'd suggest Maxon varients of the the pedal as they are stilled made with the correct circuit unless you plan on spending a bundle on a vintage ibanez which I think is a waste of money. Maxon is the original maker of the pedal and made all of the favored original ibanez models for ibanez. At least that's my understanding of things.

well, I use one with my orange amps, marshalls, etc. I use it for a lead boost. It adds mids which makes you cut through a little better, and it adds sustain. I like to play noisy non-shred, grungy solos, and it really gets the sustain and feedback going for this. Works great for that. As for my rhythm tones, It is all Orange, just with a mxr micromp pushing for higher gain as I like a crunchy core tone for a lot of my verses, and a boost for the high gain for most of my chorus work, so I can switch back and forth that way.

It makes tubes scream.

Pretty self explanitory in my opinion...

I love mine with my AD30, just use its as a little boost for solos and big choruses.

I'm with ironlung.
I use it for leads to cut through and a tad of extra gain.
Works like a charm on every amp i've had.
