LOL...if Mark still came around!
Who is that guy anyway...
I did find one for way less on eBay and gave Neil the link.
I have never played any of them...the GFS pickups for the money
are pretty good though...so don't see how you could go wrong for the
price...But I agree...you get that one, and you will be soon gassing for the
real Mccoy, er Fender!

Yeah, we'll see. I might just save the money and get my wife something nice for our anniversary. She wouldn't see that coming.

Well, I'm sure she'd love a new jazzmaster!
Re: I think I want this guitar: Cheap sleeper deal?
Haha, I'll try that out and let you know how many bones I have broken by July 29th.indianDYsummer wrote:Well, I'm sure she'd love a new jazzmaster!

It may deliver for its price, but I wouldn't expect to fair to well if you don't like it and decide to sell it.
Also, I wouldn't put a warmoth neck on it. If I was going to go that route, I'd look for a jazzmaster parts on ebay.
Re: I think I want this guitar: Cheap sleeper deal?
Those are good points, the resale value wouldn't be much. I'm guessing I'll take care of more practical needs (like getting another Boss RC-2 looper pedal ) before I worry about one of these. I still love the P90 look though.ironlung40 wrote:Neiloler wrote:That's exactly what got me thinking about this in the first place. Well, I was thinking I'd be happy with the electronics, or at least give them a shot first.jord123 wrote:warmoth! just build one neil! a little more expensive, but your gonna wanna gut that thing and replaced all the electronics anyway.
I'd like to try our Stewart McDonald's Golden Age P90s. $48 a piece can't be too bad. We'll see.

Way cool Luke, it's hopefully going to be fin, but even if it's low budget, at least it'll be meaningful.

Yep, I'm super close to having my first real job and am going to make a jazzy my first purchase!
Re: I think I want this guitar: Cheap sleeper deal?
I have one of the Ash Caramel Telemasters. The guitar quality is very good. You will find yourself upgrading components but they're decent sounding guitars for the money.
