i think the US have a great draw. we play the runner up of (germany, austraiia, serbia) and if we win that, play uruguay/south korea.

i think we've got a great chance.

Go USA great game today and at the sametime I was glad to see England advance. Germany and Ghana are going at it right now with Germany up by one however Ghana is playing some good football and could surprise them.

I just got back from watching the Australia V. Serbia game with all the fans in Melbourne.

Fantastic game however that gual scored by Pantelic in the last 10 minutes dashed Australia's hopes of advancing.
The end result was Australia 2 Serbia 1 however that put us on equal point with Ghana so we bombed out due to goal difference  .

Now that the patriotism is out of the way I can settle in to just enjoying the games and not feel like my heart is in a vice everytime the ball goes near our goal square

You're not wrong there! USA definitely has a better run of potential games!
When the England match finished, the US were still drawing so we thought we were going to be top. Now have the dreaded England vs Germany match (please don't let it go to Penalties!!!)

Yeah, Italy has no appeal to me either. Bunch of big egos and no enjoyable games either (turtledefense).

Portugal is somewhat okay nowadays but during the Figo-era they were a bunch of crybabies. Don't like C. Ronaldo for that reason.

And France, that fighting was rediculous.

Otherwise I say go everyone :)

I was surfing the different sports sites that had anything to say about FIFA World Cup and came acrossed the top 10 rankings. USA is ranked #9 way to go guys. So far this World Cup has been a lot of fun and very exciting. I still think its South Americas to win or loose but the Netherlands look good. I also think the other European teams will step it up in the round of 16 which should make the 2nd round that much more interesting.

Oh well the USA lost. Ghana are turning out to be pretty tough customers.
