Wich cabinet 4x12" or 2x12"

I have a hughes and kettner Puretone (sounds awsome) and I want to buy an Orange cabinet, but I oredered one 2x12" cabinet and now I can buy an 4x12" cabinet, wich sounds better and what are the difference?

Sound wise, I don't think there's much difference but your back might thank you for buying the 2X12.... check the weight on those.

Both the 4X12 and 2X12's new are loaded with Vintage 30's- a great sounding speaker IMHO. I don't think you could go wrong with either cab.

I´ve had the same problem for a long time. I cant decide if I want the 212 or the 412. How many Watts is your amp?
I have the Orange OR120 ( Amazingly loud.) And some people keep saying that I would blow the speakers if I had the 212 since its a 120 W cab, other people think that it will be great combination.
The 412 is a 240W cab but it is so heavy that you need to install wheels on it if you plan on roading it around.

you have the 2x12?for the same price i would get the extra 2 speakers.with a 4x12 you will move more air so it will seem like it sounds a little LOUDER.
