The 70s combos

Post by DarrenD » Wed Jun 09, 2010 5:46 pm

Who here has OR120/OR80 combos? I can't seem to find any and remember playing one years ago. How heavy are these beasts?

I don't have one, but judging from the size of the amp, cab, and two speakers, I'm guessing 80 lbs easy.

VERY heavy. I played through one once and it was ridiculously heavy!

I'm used to carrying around bass equipment, so maybe it wouldn't ruin my back too much. I played one before and loved the sound -- never picked it up though! To my understanding, the combos are slightly more rare? I tend to see more 90s reissues more than the 70s.
