can someone tell me the differences of these OR120 heads?
Is the newer looking one a reissue of the old one? What are the differences tonally and technical?
It looks like the #1 pick has 3 band eq while #2 doesn't, but the graphics are bit different as well over the in/out or send/return inputs. (is this a loop?)
Sorry if I sound like a newbie, but I've gained a peaked interest in these heads, but don't know what I'm looking at.
I need an education on OR120's Please

Re: I need an education on OR120's Please
The first one is an OVERDRIVE 120... its the Mastervolume Unit and a reissue, its not a 3 band EQ... its still a baxandall tonestack... the difference to the second amp is you can get overdrive sounds at moderate levels, while you need a "BIG" volume with the second amp, because its an OR120 a NON Mastervolume Unit.... but the second amp is a real old one not a reissue...
Some Infos: from Geerts Page
FIRST AMP: http://users.telenet.be/orangefg/OFG_OD120HV.htm this is a vintage one not an reissue...but technical the same amp...
SECOND AMP: http://users.telenet.be/orangefg/OFG_GRO100.htm
so the main differences are: THE AGE!!! and the Mastervolume!!!
