Has anyone ever played a Mesa V-Twin pedal?

Anyone have any thoughts on it?

Yes sir.IMO it is a hell of a pedal.It takes up a lot of space on the board so I use a G2D Creamtone instead.The Creamtone does exactly what I want.

+100...Great minds think alike.. :wink:

My honest opinion...The V Twin is great for several things, one of the first valve driven
boost pedals, which you can use if your main amp breaks down, just go straight into the PA /or board from it, it will liven up Solid state amps as well.. The downside is that the earlier versions have a considerable volume jump from blues to solo, the later versions corrected this with a mini switch underneath.G2D incorporated that idea into their pedal.Also it has to have the dedicated mesa power supply, the polarity/voltage is different to standard pedals. They are very collectible and IMHO better than the reissue versions. 8)

Played a friend's once about 12 years ago. It was pretty awesome. Because of the tube it has much more character than other pedals I had tried at that point.

Clay, one of these days I will get a Creamtone, but do you have to swim to New Zealand to show that you are worthy?
