Well compared to a 120 its not loud. A 120 could blow an ear drum when cranked. Really! Yes the AD can play any bar or club. When i play it with my band it stays around 1 to 2 o'clock. Never really have to turn it up more. Cutting through is one thing this amp is great at. That should not be a problem.

The ad30tc is strictly a guitar amp. I'm not sure what the vintage bass model numbers are. I can tell you I have never seen one for sale in the US. Alot of people use the vintage 120's and a good bass cab though. The AD series is brand new but they do make a bass head. It's on this site in the products.
wiedian, Ive had my eye out for an old bass rig for years, never found one,or even seen one, so i just remortgaged my house and got a new AD200 bass and 4x10. F-in marvellous it is, I couldnt believe the difference in my guitars (a 67 EB2D,epiphone EBO,63 reissue Ricky 40003s) its so much more noticeable, I play blues in one band, rock in another and it fits the bill for all of it brilliantly, its not often people comment on how good the bass sounds at gigs in pubs. . . . . .
Id still like a vintage set up though, good luck looking.
