Always good to get tattoos!

Im gonna get the van halen logo or a les paul or something similar built into my sleeve one day. Ive got a half sleeve thats not bad but gonna be redone by a brilliant tattooist to the way i want it. I was silly when i got it done as i wanted to much done in to quick a time and its shows in certain places.
Tone is everything

I've never loved anything enough to get it put permanently on my body.

And I love my wife more than life itself, but I get to have her around every day, no need to tattoo her name on my chest. ;)

I'm getting the Orange "crest" logo tattooed the day I buy my RV50. I like the idea of the pictograms, too... soo, might be a 2-fer that day.

Maybe you guys can tattoo "Adidas" on your back, or Coca Cola bottles on your neck. Better hope you don't change your mind one day and switch to Marshall. White logos don't stand out much on pastey guitarists.
A 17 year old student of mine was clever enough to tattoo a giant Batman on one shin, and Heath Ledger's Joker on the other after having seen the most recent installment in the series....don't imagine he'll regret that much by the time he's 30.

I would consider the Orange pictograms to be classic and somewhat cryptic, and therefore not nearly as regrettable as more blatant corporate logos/references. The only way to make sure you don't regret getting a tattoo is to not get a tattoo.

I can honestly say that all of my tattoo's have very significant meanings that represent either personal growth (usually spiritually), or a specific time in my life that I never want to forget. Both my sleeves were done by friends while I lived in Hawaii and I will never forget the times we had while I lived there. Everyday I wake up and I get to see them through the artwork I have on my body. On top of that, my chest piece and side piece are both reminders that even though I sometimes walk through the darkness, I have a Light that will always guide me home.

I just love tattoos. :D :D :D

25 years as a musician, playing in metal or heavy rock bands - and no tattoos! Been to the shop before to get one, just couldn't think of anything I wanted on me forever. Lots of my friends have em, cool. Now in my mid 40s, don't really have the desire anymore nor do I want to spend the $$ on them!
