Nothing Goes With Orange Like Blue Pearl

I haven't bought a new guitar in ages. I had a few good paying gigs this month, so I took the plunge and ordered a new Gretsch Blue Pearl Jet. I'm having TV Jones PowerTrons and a pinned Tune-O-Matic bridge installed. Should be a player and a looker! All I need now is few more Orange varieties and I should be at one with the Universe. Yee haw.

I used to have a black Duo Jet and a Silver Jet. They were early '90 and '91 models. Very nice guitars. I literally saved pennies in jars to buy them at the time. I think the quality of the new Gretsch stuff under Fender is better, though. I picked the Pearl Jet 'cause I don't see many people playing them. It also has a Zemaitis-like vibe to it.
