Your Fave Overdrive Pedal?
think its time for a new OD for my rocker 30. been using a digitech bad monkey, and like it but i feel like i'm missing out on some better overdrive, any recommendations for a good od pedal?
Cheers

Honestly, I love my R30's clean channel cranked with a nice boost in front. Great stuff. Very toneful.
OlerAudio is coming out with a variable boost-type pedal soon.
In the mean time, I'd recommend looking into a MXR Micro Amp or a ZVex SHO clone (PLEASE don't pay $200 for a Zvex SHO...)

My favourite is the Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret. Pretty versatile box with the two modes and an internal switch as well.

Re: Your Fave Overdrive Pedal?
with my rocker 30, i use an XOTIC RC BOOSTER or an MXR CAE MC-401 Boost Line Driver.
both sound great. i like them because they maintain the character of the amp and guitar while giving
you a (nearly) clear boost.

DOD 308 YJM & Keeley Ultra DS1, both sound awesome through my Rocker 30 as boosts for soloing.

Knights of Columbus that's a good pedal!
I'm going to make an OD pedal called the "Smelly Pirate Hooker".

Okko Diablo - I got a used one. It's made in Germany, built like a tank and sounds great. It's a low to medium type, nice and rich overdrive.
