You are justified if you are afraid of catching teh ghey from these vids but my girlfriend was watching Ellen and when I wasn't recoiling in horror I couldn't help noticing some Orange when the camera accidentally showed the band for a nanosecond. Are 4X12's available in black tolex or did they get them recovered to match AL's eyeliner and lederhosen? Also - if you are man enough to handle Orange amplification, shouldn't you be playing real music?

ya - i'm not sure what the big deal is. the dude's makin' coin playin' i think. i personally don't like lambert, but his guitar player is playing an amp that is widely talked about as being one of the best ever.

mind you...i'm not sure i can hear it in that vid. i think he was lipsynching, tho who knows...

We should all just be happy that Orange has gotten, and will continue to get, so much awesome face time thanks to Adam Lambert.

Yep-- that's Monte Pittman. He's awesome, but I'm biased. If it helps his cred around these parts, I might mention that he used to be (and might be again in the future) in PRONG with Tommy Victor. The guy can shred. In addition to the metal and the pop that he is known for, he also has an acoustic album out (called the Deepest Dark)which is worth checking out.

I think he was with Madonna doing the Haiti Telethon when Lambert filmed that- but what a swell guy: he sent his amps over for his bandmate to rock.

I don't know whose idea it was to hook up with Orange, but Monte & Madonna have played Orange since at least 2006. He has Thunderverbs in white, purple, and black-- and was a crucial factor in why I splurged on the limited edition white amps from 2009.

it just feels SOOOO staged and NOT honest, very shallow and on the surface material. Idk why american idol has gotten SOOO good at finding shallow acts.

but to give him credit i watched the interview with jay leno and he seems like a really down to earth chill guy,.. just hate his music hahaha
