Great Pedal Digitech DL-8

Post by Drdos » Sun Jan 17, 2010 2:54 pm

Just bought this Friday night, and haven't had the chance to really work through it yet but I have to say this is really a great Delay/Loop pedal. I was more interested in the loop function on this pedal then the Delay, but the Tape Echo, and the Analog delay functions are truly pristine effects. The best thing is that I got 15% off the price, so it was a no brainer..

Have heard great things about all the Hardwire series pedals. There's an Australian guy on Youtube who did some great long, in-depth demoes of them. All his gear demoes are really good actually...

haha that's the Demo I was listening to the other day. He has his daughter do the intro to the Vid... Yeah I've been looking at it for a while now. It was the DL-8 or the TC Nova Repeater, but for now I needed a simple loop function. I was testing this with my Black Heart BH5 yesterday, and the repeats are just amazing pure clean sounding. I was using an Ibanez delay for years and just not getting along with distorted repeats from time to time. Any way this pedal is definitely worth the money..

The case itself is very heavy, and very well made... I haven't tried any of the other HardWire pedals, but this one is a gem...

I played on their distortion, and the overdrive pedal. I was impressed. Especially for the price.

No problemo' It's a DC adapter jack....Digitech recommends the Harmon PS200r 9vDC power supply... I just use my Godlyke power all... I think any 9v 200ma supply will work..
