just amazing

Post by Alan The Tank Engine » Tue Jan 05, 2010 1:10 am

I really did not realize how incredible my rockerverb was until i went to band practice yesterday... i had practice with two different bands because they are both in the battle of the bands coming up. And i brought my orange to both, and it just blew the other amps away with it's tone. Incredible. the others couldnt even compare. The other guitarists about sh*t themselves when they heard it.

They are sweet. I had one at one time, and, stupidly sold it.

I'm about to sell mine.
I'm 95% sure that I will regret it, but hey, money is tight 8) .

Glad you are enjoying it to it's full capacity!

No worries there! If I couldn't have a 50, the 30 woul be perfect. In fact, I considered switching once. The 30 is my second favorite amp. Period.

I've been to too many battle of the bands as an audience member. Most of the time the guitarists and bass players are using the wrong amps to get the sound they want. Not that everyone should play an Orange, but the correct answer is not Peavey.

My gf and I have already established that if it ever comes down to it, we will be homeless in the freezing cold, starving, and I will be towing my thunderverb and my SG in a wagon as I beg for food.
Thunderverb 50,
modded SG, pedals, shiner bock.

what sort of amps did it "blow away"?

my bandmate's FHRD blows many an amp away with its tone... not to mention vocals and drums... can't hear anything else with 150db ice-picks in your ears    :x
