It's OLD!

I reckon it's an OR 120. The guy i bought it off bought it second hand in 1978, so it's OLD. But it sounds superb, as it should.

Out the window goes the Marshall stack.

It's ORANGE-ing time......

Just saw a re-run of Saturday Night Live with Veruca Salt. They were using an Orange 4x12 cab. I can't say what amp was on it except that it wasn't an Orange.

I went to a music festival not to long ago in mid Kentucky, USA, and i saw two bands there that used Orange gear. The biggest band of the two I saw was Relient K. Their leadsing/guitarist used both head and cab made by orange. He was playing a Gibson Explorer '76 RI....sounded awesome!

i saw Poison The Well when they opened for AFI a couple nights ago. The guitar players for Poison The Well both ran Marshall heads through Orange 4x12's.

Clutch also uses them. Saw this live video from Queens of the Stone Age playing "Go with the flow" and Josh Homme was playing out of 3 Orange 4x12's with his Ampegs. One was aimed towards the crowd and the others were aimed towards each other at an angle with the heads sitting on top. Whats with this? Has anyone tried this before? I wonder how it sounds.

Perhaps the most famous Orange users were Wishbone Ash in the '70s - Andy Powell had an amazing tone.

Paul Kossoff from Free used Orange on occasion.

Allen Woody of the Allman Brothers and Gov't Mule used a OR120 and 2 4x12 cabs in his video. He loved the feeling it gave the bass. I was blessed enough to have him as a dear friend and neighbor and before he passed away 3 yrs ago he gave the amp to me as a gift. I now live in Charlotte NC and when I get it on stage people simply drool over the tone. They have never seen or heard one live before.

Bill Ryder-Jones from The Coral uses a Gibson 335 through an AD30 by the looks of it.

My band Rally Car uses orange amps, Right now I use a Vintage Orange Or120 and matching 4x12 cab for guitar and I'm awaiting my new just ordered Orange AD140HTC head. We are going to order an AD200B bass head and 4x10 cab in the near future. You gotta have an Orange. Anything else doesn't compare. Check out our web site http://www.rallycar.ca

I've got two live shots from MARS VOLTA where Omar Rodriguez-Lopez plays an early orange head combined with a hiwatt cab. I think the bass player is playing orange too.
BLINK 182 got 3 (!!) orange cabs + heads at a live show in austria - what a picture!!
