Xotic AC booster VS AC booster +

Hello !!!
I use the AC booster quite a bit as my main tone and I'm thinking of switching to the AC booster + as it offers a second channel.
Is this a good thing to do??? The point being: does the AC booster + sound as good as the regular model?
Another option would be to stick to the regular AC booster and get something else than the second channel of the AC+ for soloing (Hot cake? Lovepedal? other?)
