Plus this:
= tonal nirvana!
Seriously - had the best practice last night. All I brought were the items above and my wireless and this:
.
No pedal board. No delay. No OD. No boost. Not even a tuner!
I had the best practice I've had in months last night with this simple rig. It probably helped that we had a week off - during which time our new drummer did some serious wood shedding on the songs and we've finally gotten to a place with him where we can go out and gig. Anyways = just a slammin' session last night - it was sorely needed. I'd been wondering where this was all headed and kind of getting down on the band - but last night it all came together. It giggin' time!!!!!
FWIW - the RV50 sounded just awesome last night (it usually does, ). Both channels were sounding very good. I got to play with the volume on the both channels at around 12:00 while the gain on the dirt went between 12:00 and 4:00. It was total tone domination. I rule!

Nah - I have too much respect for my family to put them through something hideous like that. When I want to torture them I have them look at pictures of left handed guitars.neonrust wrote:NO TUNER!!!!!.........Man Greg,,,,,did you leave your socks and shoes behind too?

i love practices like that. i've not had one with the band at church like that in a while. i often go and come home disappointed and uninspired. the musicians are typically out for themselves - nobody's listening to anyone else, and we don't practice, we chop away at songs once or twice and the leader deems it fine.
but good practices?! man...that's amazing. right on!!!

Man that's friggin beautiful. I like the tele too. If I could find a bound tele like yours in the color of your strat! Not that there's anything wrong with red....
So Greg, what's the spider pedal?
Glad to hear you had a great rehearsal.

Love my RV50 also, we need a new picture of your kids, they got to be getting bigger by now! I've been using a Klon pedal with my RV50 and it takes everything to a whole new level. My current rig is:
PRS Santana MD > Fulltone Wah > Klon Centaur > RV50 > PPC 212 (I put a Carbon Copy Delay and a Fulltone Supatrem & MXR Microamp in the loop)
This rig is simple and gives me every sound I could want. The Klon was expensive but it really is unique and has a certain mojo I haven't found in other pedals. I run in on all the time at a low level.
