Hey guys
I've got a Rockerverb 50 head and 2 open back 2x12 cabinets, I wanna connect them both up, am I right in thinking i connect one to the 16ohms out and the other one to the 8ohms out?
Thanks

Re: Connecting multiple cabinets
No.
1. Are they both 16 Ohm cabs? I know you mention OB 2x12s but didn't specify if they were Orange Cabs.
2. If they are both 16 Ohm cabs you can hook them both up through the 8 Ohm jacks. Leave the 16 Ohm empty.

BTW You never ever want to use the different impedance outputs of your amp at the same time!

Make sure you know the impedance of your cabs and then go from there. If you have more questions write back here to us and we'll get you straightened out.Again- read the FAQ- if you want to know about impedance, here it is:
With modern Oranges- you can use:
GUITAR AMPS:
*one 16 ohm cab using the 16 ohm jack
*two 16 ohm cabs using both 8 ohm jacks
*two 16 ohm cabs using one 8 ohm jack with the cabs daisychained off each other
*one 8 ohm cab using one of the 8 ohm jacks
BASS AMPS:
*one 8 ohm bass cab using the 8 ohm jack
*two 8 ohm bass cabs using both 4 ohm jacks
*one 4 ohm bass cab using one of the 4 ohm jacks
