I'm planning on buying a Rocker 30 combo next week. Can't wait for it to get here already! I loved the TT, just didn't have enough clean for me, but really excited about this amp!

Hmm. If I would have the TT and think it didn't have enough clean hearoom I probably wouldn't upgrade to 30 watts, I'd go for a RV50. I wonder if the 15 watt increase will be that much of a difference??

I'm speaking out of my a$$. Yours might differ.

You will not be disappointed in the Rocker 30. It really is a great amp.

I just happened to play my Rocker 30 head last night (through the PPC412-LTD) with the Natural Channel FULLY cranked. It is not that loud compared to the Dirty Channel on half with gain at 3:00+. I really like the gritty sound of the Natural Channel when cranked, but it doesn't really qualify as "Clean" to me above 12:00 or 1:00. It is cleaner than the Tiny Terror at the same approximate volume, but the difference is not huge. I should note that the G12H-30 (70th) speakers do break up earlier than Vintage 30s, so that may have made a noticeable difference.

I've got the rocker 30 head, and it has pretty darn good headroom to my ears. I use V30's. Sure it doesn't have the headroom of a RV50 like mentioned above, but the voicing is a lot different so comparing a R30 to a RV50 is a moot point, but the natural channel is really nice, and the gain channel has great chimey cleans too with the master up and the gain down low, I guess chimey isn't really the right word as no orange really sounds chimey, but you get my drift. You'll get a lot more versatility out of this amp than the TT. It is a loud little booger though. I think you'll be blown away with this amp. If you really need high volume cleans, get a fender amp to run along with your orange with an a/b pedal. I see this all the time.

I've seen the R30 on stage with JCM 800 2203 100 watt marshalls, and it mixed really really well.
