I swapped my TT/PPC112 for an ESP Horizon FR II

Post by Orange_nobody » Fri Oct 30, 2009 9:03 pm

I exchanged my TT/PPC112 for an used ESP Horizon FR II. The guitar is in good condition, not ugly scratches or paint removed, only the Floyd Rose has some screws with rust (easy to replace). After some serious cleaning the guitar looks pretty cool.
What do you think? the guitar is the same as the picture below.

I used to have the fixed bridge version of this. One of the nicest guitars I've ever played. The guy who recorded my last bands CD said he'd never recorded such a nice guitar either.

I haven't taken any pictures, but is exactly the same guitar (including the hard case). It comes with Seymour Duncan SH-4 bridge and SH-1 neck. It sounds awesome  , much better than my Ibanez Prestige with its Ibanez QM1 and QM2 stock pickups.
The only problem now I am not an Orange guy anymore. Probably in the future I will get a Rocker or maybe a ENGL  .

I want that same guitar in blue, minus the trem - the string-through version.
Please, call me Austin.

Yep, the ESP Horizon NT II in blue looks pretty cool as well. The sustain of these ESP Horizon are unbelievable.
How I said, this ESP is much better than my Ibanez S Prestige. So, I ordered a DiMarzio Tone Zone bridge and Air Norton neck to improve the sound of the guitar. I hope that after the pickup upgrade will be as good as the ESP.

I used to use my NTII through an Engl Savage SE and my word it was freaking nice.

There's a few tracks on there that have me playing the Horizon through my old Engl. My sound is very different now as all my gear has changed!

Haha cheers. We split up before we could record our Livin On A Prayer cover, although I think there's a video floating around somewhere (maybe even on that page) of us doing it.
