Line out from solid state amp into vox tube amp?

i read this on some forum:
With the exception of this pre-amp in business, I've done something similar. I used to own a Vox Pathfinder 10 and a Fender Blues Junior. My BJr was suddenly not sounding all that great, and I was pretty green on tube amps at the time. This motivated me to try this, but I ran the Line Out from the Vox to the BJr's guitar input. I plugged the guitar into the Vox and WOW! Talk about tone! It was amazing. On the BJr, I left the EQ in the middle and adjusted the Master Volume to an at home level. The rest was done on the Vox and guitar. Really sounded great. It was like I was using the Vox as a pedal. Great tone.
