This little gem was designed by Steve Dawson, the designer of the Vintage Modern. The VM sounds absolutely great so my hopes are up for this one.

still like my AD-5 more than this marshall...allthough it has a TMB Control instead of the Tone-Knob...

maybe i should reconsider my small recording amp...

t least it looks like a small bluesbreaker

I think noone has played it.
But the clips under "theatre" with Joe Bonamassa are quite impressive.
Definetly worth checking out, i would say!

This is seriously tempting. Wonder how it would sound in a real A->B comparison with the Epi Valve Jr. Shoot if retail is the what 399? they say and maybe you can get it street for 350 it is so cheap it is worth it just for fun.

Edit: this article references a price of $560 US (http://blog.mixonline.com/briefingroom/ ... r-purists/) a bit more but still not awful esp if it is as cool as the live show demo videos.

I don't think the official marshall demo sounds that good. But then again i heard the same guitarist play and demo the vintage modern and that didn't thrill me either.
The Joe Bonamassa clips, on the other hand, sound awesome i.m.o..

Ive seen it played live (by chris george) - think mini bluesbreaker and youre there - awesome piece of kit and the first class A ive seen with a headphone jack - and despite the 10'' speaker it was loud (think TT 5w setting)

But I only came fifth and got the kettle...
