John Martyn - May You Never

Apart from this song being absolutely brilliant, I was comparing both videos and was surprised at the tone difference in John's voice from when he was young, to when he was older and carrying more weight.

Personally I like the tone he gets as he got older but that takes nothing away from this song - its just fantastic in my opinion... Well written, well composed, well played and well sung on both occasions here:

Quite an interesting difference though and not a bad slide solo in the 2nd one!
