Am watching right now, and am thoroughly looking forward to the performance.

Were you fortunate enough to meet Adam Sandler and/or Peter Saarsgard? Or is the backstage a clusterfuck, and nobody gets to meet anyone else?

So far there have been PLENTY of Orange Bass Rig shots. You are getting a lot of screen time.

Very cool that the guitarist and Kate herself are using Vox. To be completely honest, though, the TV mix is awfully synth heavy, since he seems to be playing/mimicking the bass line for a lot of the song... but during the breakdown, I could TOTALLY hear that Orange bass groove.

AWESOME. Very many congratulations on your appearance, that was really cool.

nope. i met conan and peter briefly after the show. conan was talking to kate about how he loves to play guitar and has a rockabilly band. he wants to be a guest on his own show, but doesn't think they'll let him :)

thanks for all the kind words :)

No cable, so caught the performance online.

Great bass sound! Is that a J-bass or some variation you are playing?

it's a 1969 Fender Jazz. My favorite bass. With Flats on it. Sounds like old school thumpy bassy punch. I love it.

That was cool man. I TVO'd it. I've been trying to persuade our bass player to get an Orange.
