Talking albums here right? Not favorite bands or album that had a favorite song...but full albums.

1. The Cult - Electric
2. AC/DC - Powerage
3. Guns N Roses - Appetite
4. Billy Joe Shaver - Unshaven: Live at Old Smithes Bar

Can't think of a 5th right now.

Alright...something weird just happened. I'm at home today because a guy is working on my trim in my house. We just got to talking and started talking music (all my amps and stuff out).....turns out he was the bass player for Billy Joe Shaver for years! Weird that I just listed BJS as one of my all time favorite albums.

Dude.
Thank you for that epic list.
I am always in need of new music and this is just a shove in the right direction!

Way to remember Ozzy as well; Randy Rhoads is such an undersung hero (and not only because he died young, he was amazing before that!)

Check 'em out! These are just the ones I feel influenced me the most. Ozzy (whether solo or Sabbath) got me through high school man...

It's hard to narrow it down to just 5, so I'd say in no particular order:

Brooke Fraser
Corinne Bailey Rae
Dave Barnes
Evermore
Foo Fighters
Hillsong United
James Taylor
John Mayer
Jon McClaughlin
Jonny Lang
Keith Urban
Nirvana
Norah Jones
Paramore
The Police
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Steely Dan
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Theory Of A Deadman

If they're on the list, then pretty much everything they do

Wired,

Our music tastes are scarily similar.
I still stand by saying Linkin Park's first album created a whole new genre in 12 tracks.
