any reverb and a deluxe memory man will do the job.... the best "noise" you'll ever have!

An analog delay that starts oscillating can be interesting!
Especially if you put that through another (digital) delay.
The E-bow is always good too.

My old band did something weird in the studio. We just played palm muted guitar, then reversed it. On top of that, we screamed in the studio and raised the pitch in pro tools... it didn't sound fake, it sounded like a blood curdling female scream. And to top it off, we mixed that all with us pounding a wrench against a piece of railroad track metal.

It was just kinda dark weirdness.

AM Radio, Chaos Pad and an oscilloscope/noise generator. Seriously you can make some awesome noises with those 3 things.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm thinking I'll bring my delay with the crazy switch back to the board, and send it into a delay going out to two amps... might be interesting. I'll play around with it.

My amp is almost built. :)

Consider looking into 'circuitbending'.

Any kind of electronic toy weapon held close to the pickups. We have a toy shotgun downstairs where the batteries are dying so the "shot" noise sounds really broken and far off...held close to the pickups and running through analog delay, reverb, and a little fuzz it makes for a massive sound.
