What is a OCD??????????????

Post by Optimus Grime » Fri May 29, 2009 5:20 pm

I've seen this posted everywhere as like some kind of universally loved and coveted pedal. Is OCD a acronym or is that the actual name of the pedal? Can someone post a pic or a link to it or something?

Can you tell I'm new?

http://www.fulltone.com/ocd.asp

Fulltone OCD is a overdrive/distortion pedal. It's quite a popular choice around here, but a few people including myself found it to be a little fizzy sounding. Dont let this put you off though, many people have had great results with it, it's all down to your own personal taste.

Ahhhhhhhhhh so is just a standard drive pedal. It seems to have a tube screamer type following.

AHAHAA classic... I think that Mike Fuller has turned out the 5th version of that pedal right now. so if your interested in one you may want to try them all if possible.

I think the pedal's name is meant to be a pun on the mental condition, because allegedly this pedal is very picky about where you put it in your chain, or something like that.

Teddy I think it's cause the pedal likes to wash it's hands alot, and turn lights on and off again over and over and over!

If you're not in the states...I don't think you can get Fulltone pedals. I don't think they ship them out of the USA. They're pretty good, though.
