Hey Van Cleef, any issue w/ the pup swap? I want to do this on my Firebird but I'm worried about the old pups being bigger and showing after the swap...Van Cleef wrote:bout time all you right wingers got some left wing ack-shone

hey mate - my luthier's best guess was that the routing was done some time in the late 70s early 80s... the full size pickup rings cover the routing... swapping back to mini hums/p90s would need some work though...

Thanks mate, yeah I love this goldtop, plus it's super light at 8lbs on the nose and it sounds sensational.tony_clifton wrote:
That goldtop is beautifull!
What's the value of that guitar by now? 20.000 and more?
(but don't you ever let her go!)
It's been refinished so it's not worth 20k, it's more of a players grade guitar, but that's exactly how I like it.
How do you like your Agile? I just ordered an AL-3100 white w/ gold HW. I hear many good things over the net, but does it really compare to a gibson les paul standard or custom like most are saying? If so, then the price is a steal.Neiloler wrote:Double Cuts count when they're that good looking. And SGpornstar, that DC is amazing. I love the simplicity of the DC.
How about this one?

Put money down on this Les Paul today. Very cool! Slim profile 60's neck, 57 classics, Grovers, Custom appointments, etc... Obviously, mine will sound better
