The Challenge!!

Post by Aslan » Mon May 04, 2009 1:17 pm

You get a call to go play for a major touring group (music genre of your choice) and they give you the green light to get what ever gear you need to join them, what guitars and amps would you buy???? (you can get 2-3 guitars and 2 amps)

I'd buy another RV50H (for backup) and another 412 (so I'd have a full stack). Screw it, I'd get that stuff and another whole RV stack. I already have 3 '61 RI SG's (maybe get a custom shop SG in a different finish).

Matchless DC-30 and a Badcat Lynx Head and cab.

Then I'd get a Gretsch DuoJet, a 335 and a Thinline Tele.

I take the money, buy a new TV, wash and dryer set for my wifie, and stick the rest in savings, then I take my current gear. :)

a HUGE wall of Marshall cabs for show, like the 80's... while just running a 70's Orange OR120 (that i would also have them buy me) and one Marshall 2204 head that i already own..
