here are some clips of my AD30R, just recorded then on my little $8 headset mike, sorry about the sub-standard quality - overdrive on clean parts is probably the mike, but overall the recordings still sound ok i think (for $8 lol i know its poor)
with these recordings i tried to offer a contrast to the general sound clips people put up on these forums, so I play metal and just kind of jammed, its not 'tight' and I made a lot of mistakes. I am playing through my Brian Moore guitar (unknown model). The only effect I use is my TS-808 tubescreamer reissue in the 2nd clip to get the 'metal' sound I use along with a rocktron hush IICX rackmount noisegate. On the 3rd clip I put up the amp gain from clean to its heaviest to contrast between the two, and switch between the pickups on my guitar/coil split them into humbuckers etc.
First clip is amp on full gain.
please note that I only have the amp turned up to 1, so it is not at its 'warmest'.

Ok guys,
I've been through this thread and not found what I would personally like to hear.
I want to hear an Orange Master volume, be that a combo or a head. &0's or 90's or 80W or 120W.
I wanna hear it, on it's own. No effects. I don't want to be redirected to a Myspace profile or a band demo.
I want to hear it playing Hard-Rock. Maybe a handful of riffs and then some power chords. Some Gnr?, Black Crowes, Free, Van Halen? Anything (not Oasis). And I want to know where the FAC/Contour control was when the clip was recorded.
Don't suppose anyone has the wherewithall to do that so they?

This is the Tiny Terror amp using an Orage 1x12 cab. The guitars used are my Fender Strat and a Goldtop with P90s. From an SM57 into a Boss BR8 with no effects.

The clips were recorded with a Shure SM-57, miced on the cone, slightly off-axis, run directly into my RME Fireface 800 - there is no extra processing. I ran the TT into my Rocker 30 combo's cabinet (w/stock Celestion Vintage 30). For all clips I ran at 7watts - with the crunch, volume was at 9 o'clock, tone at 3 o'clock, gain at 2 o'clock - for the clean clip, volume was maxed, tone maxed and gain at 9 o'clock. For each clip I cycled through neck, middle and bridge positions with the guitars.
