So for Halloween I bought myself a Jim Root Terror (because I thought it was fitting  ) but haven't had the chance to finally make a clip until now. Super happy with the sound, it's easily my favorite distorted tone out of everything I've ever gotten.

Full signal chain explanation in the video description if anybody is interested. Super happy to have joined the Orange community, I have yet to hear one that I'm not super impressed with, and the JR certainly exceeded expectations.

Band just released a new single called "Something Else". Free stream / free download on our website (at the bottom): http://www.cadetsandkings.com.

NOT SPAMMING! - it's all an Orange TH30 through a PPC212OB and I'd like to share it to show that the TH30 is not just a downtuned metal kind of amp. Rhythm tracks are mostly gain at 11:00, shape at 10:00, and volume to taste. Can't remember if it was 15 or 30 watt mode, but it was all four tubes. Miced up close with an E609.

There's an extra rhythm guitar way down low that had the gain up to 1:00, same other settings. The leads are at this 1:00 gain setting too.

Guitars were a CP Jag with single coils for rhythm, double fat Strat for lead.

BTW all of the other tunes on the website are older recordings. Everything there is a TT and a PPC112 except "Call Your Hand" which is a TH30 through a 1960AX with Greenbacks. Those were all miced with an SM57. Guitar for most of that stuff was an SG Standard.

Some recording from the last gig of my band. We're two guitars, I use an OR15 and the other has a Kemper.

https://soundcloud.com/the_angers/good-times-bad-times" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (all solos are OR15)

Hi!

It's been a while, but I', back. ;)
We've recently released an album on which the bass is recorded through my beloved Orange Ad200 mk1 running a hiwatt 115410C and mic'd with a 421. (among others)
Basses used are mainly A Fender Japan P51 and a Rickenbacker 4001 '74. Also used are a Fender jazz '72 with a serial-mod, another fender japan p51 and a Rickenbacker 4001 '79.

It's only released physically on white vinyl and I'm proud to say I've done all the artwork. If you're interested in getting a copy it's available at http://www.swedishpolarbears.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as well as digital editions in 24 bit etc. It's also available on iTunes among others.

Check it out.

I recorded most of this with an OR15 and PPC112. The first rhythm track is a jcm 800 with a treble booster and then the other rhythm tracks and leads are all with the OR15+PPC112. Might be a little different than what most folks are using the OR15 for.

I also love the OR15 as a blues rock amp tho 😊

Orange OR120 Overdrive - 90's reissue, this one might have been built in 1995
https://youtu.be/JyqehnBcVIw

Guitar: Guild S-100 (1973) used with all of its WCR Godwood pickups
The amp was run into a PPC412 and then attenuated with a THD HotPlate attenuator, on its -16dB (maximum setting).
As a result of this the volume level was very low.
