Here's another really high gain clip of the AD30htc through the Peavy 4x12.

You can find three sound clips during band practice at the bottom left-hand side
of our FB page.

Orange OR120
2x Ruby Power Tubes
Mesa 12AX7 Pre Tubes

FAC at noon
Bass at 10
Treble at 5
HF Gain at 9
Volume at 7

Cab: Vader 4x12 (ive sold it since)
Guitar: ESP LTD EC-1000 w/ EMG 81/85, Tuned to Bf, F, Bf, Ef, Bf, Ef
Pedals: Compressor (chokes the signal to get cleans), Boss DD-3 Delay, Boss TU-2 Tuner

Recorded with two mics in the practice space. The performance is pile of poop but I like to record practices.

My bass player is also in this recording, playing a Hamer 12-string through an Ampeg SVT Pro rackmount with compressor and eq, through an Ampeg Classic 8x10 and an Ampeg 1x15. His signal isnt as strong in the recording.

If any of you dig this stuff...not only are you weird but you should add us.

I just joined a band that would probably be described as "post-hardcore". (Generally I don't care for labels but they're useful at times). We've recorded one song and I played my PRS Custom 22 into my Orange AD30HTC going through my Peavy 4x12. I played lead guitar on the track and I used the lead channel the whole track.

Settings:

Master: 10
Treble: 7
Middle: 3
Bass: 4
Gain: 10

That is some wicked tone man. I really dug when the clean guitar came in. Listening to it makes me want to smoke some weed. Btw, I loled when I read all your influences and saw Mariah Carrie at the end.

I'm not really into that kind of stuff either but damn that tone is killer. I was seriously considering getting that amp. I am really glad I went for the AD30HTC though, it's works better for my style. What kind of stuff do you usually play? I'd be interested in hearing after listening to that clip.

She is so damned hot. Nothing is more attractive than a pretty girl playing guitar and singing... Ok, maybe a pretty girl who can tear it up on a drum set.

Just playing around with a new song on my ad30htc.
Just a basic rhythm / lead track laid down.

I'm playing straight into the amp on this through my tele w/ seymour duncan lil' 59 in the bridge.
The cab is a thd 2x12 clone, and the speaker I'm recording is a wgs veteran 30.
Rhythm track is on channel 1 with gain up just past half, lead is on channel 2 with gain at 3:00.

Recorded through a shure 545sd mic.
No eq'ing done post production, but I added a bit of delay to the lead post production.

Nothing special, but I thought I would share. I like the recorded sound of this amp.

Does anybody have some clips of some Tube saturation on a Thunderverb with burstbuckers or 57 classics? Thank you!

Thanks dude -

Sorry for the late reply, been away from the forums since my amp has been working. :P

In my present band, we played detuned metal. Probably easiest to describe it as Doom or Sludge, depending on how finicky one might be. We've been trying to get into a studio and record but have had a lot of setbacks. We did manage to have a friend record a video that we posted on YouTube, but the quality is sub-par.

Follow us on our FB page, if you're interested cause we'll post new tracks as soon as we have them.

How bout a pretty asian girl playing guitar with an or120, matamp, vintage re-201 space echo, and 2 4x12's behind her
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LF9WMk7 ... re=related

Seen some vids with a couple orange heads and 3 4x12s too. Shes not the most technical player, but she sure as sh!t knows good tone. This band turned me on to oranges back yonder, the song heavy friends is the most wicked tone ive ever heard...drooollll......

No TH30 clips? I am curious to hear what settings yo guys use in yours for classic rock crunch etc.

Might have to do one myself...

Recorded this clip for the sole purposes of letting people into the dark world of the Dark Terror. More will follow, but for now, only one..

for our ep "made you" I used an ad30htc for the crunch tones, and a 76 twin reverb for the clean tones, I don't remember what the settings were because the gear belonged to the producer. Just bought an the ad30htc, so hopefully i can emulate it.

ad30htc for the crunch tones is a good solution! Being that is was made by the Brits, rightfully so!
