Hey guys, just wondering you any of you had the opportunity to play a Godin Montreal guitar...
after recently being let on to the band Elbow I have become increasingly curious of the guitarist's rig and he seems to play this guitar alot...
if any of you recall, I was wanting to put a piezo in the bridge of my gib335 but finding this guitar seems to have made that pointless as it has all ive been after

Can't comment on that specific model but the Godins I've played have been consistently good quality and played nicely. They're well-priced for what you get too. I just personally never liked them for my style.

Interesting..would appear to be a hybrid move from the Jazz Multiac model, which are great but very expensive here.
Have had several Godins, beware of the ones with parts assembled in the USA, the electronics will vary in quality.
Depends what you want..an acoustic sound mixed with magnetics is interesting, and the Godins do that well, however, the Ghost Piezo system does it equally as well, if you have a suitable guitar to put it in...
BTW ...RMC make the internal preamp which Godin fits, and they reside in CA. USA, I've often been tempted to get one, but they are prohibitively expensive to ship here...
