Hi Forum

i already posted this in technical but to no avail and it was suggested that i post here as well, so sorry for the double post but somehow i dont think the mods will care much as they seem to be nowhere in sight anyway...

anyhow here is the question:

what is the impedance of the FX send on the RV 50 combo??

cheers

I don't know what the actual measurement is for the impedance, but I think it is a relatively high impedance. When I had my RV50 I noticed a fair amount of tone loss when using the loop, and that's what I always though caused it.

I see that you have the G-System. Have you used it yet with your RV50? I bought a G-System when I had my RV50, but I found the two really didn't work together well at all. I had it hooked up to the front end and the loop on my amp and I got a serious volume drop that killed my clean headroom and my tone.

Yes, there is some "tone loss" using the loop....loses some high end. It's an easy fix though. Dial in your tone while using the loop. Easy!
