Just traded...
My Mesa DC-5 for a Rocker 30 and another PPC112
I sold my R30 a while ago and all these recent threads coupled with a new band has made me crave those completely epic crunch sounds again!
So my new setup will be a Rocker 30 into two PPC112s! I can't wait to get it cranked up!

Thanks guys And lmao Neil!
Can't wait for my triumphant return to Orange!
Oh and my DC-5 is an earlier model (metal toggle switches instead of plastic), though I'm unsure of the year. Cost me £500 off the bay so I'm getting a sweet deal!
I think the rocker will really cater for my recording needs too. I loved the tones I was getting out of my old one at bedroom level.

Haha and there I was raving about it the other day Just bored with it to be honest. It's a great amp for heavier, darker music but I don't play that stuff any more. My new band is alternative/experimental rock so I wanted something with a little more chime and bite.Secondhand Dan wrote:OH NOOOOOO!!!!!
haha. I hope you are happy with the change.
BTW, I think the Tiny Terror may have pushed the DC-5 out of my arsenal!

I did...and I still kinda do one day, but I miss my old R30 and for what I need it for now I can't think of a better amp to be honestchimpboyjay1 wrote:Pics or it didn't happen
I thought you wanted an AD30?
Great choice anyway!
An AD30 single channel would be nice for some time in the future though
I'll post pics as soon as it gets here Meanwhile, here's my old one atop the Mesa I'm trading and my PPC112.

Neil - that's such an odd photo on your sig. At first glance I thought you were squeezing a baby between your strat and your body...
... and then I realised it was your knee. Ooops.
