Jokes aside, my preference for heads is simply due to versatility. I love to mix and match heads and cabs, and I've come to loathe the virtually inevitable boxy sound of 1x12".

Yep I allways did too...until now...
My tweed Dabeck is oversized tweed cab with a 1-12 on the lower left side..the sounds kill any 2-12 cab I ever owned, hell I dumped my DR Z best cab...
I got another tweed narrow panel twin custom made to have the 12" on the lower right side, so now its really spred apart..the tone...it drips pure honey....

I've played...

Orange TT combo
Orange TT head
Orange RV50
Orange Rocker 30

Out of all of them, I seemed to lean towards the 30. The natural channel...sound natural. Very big sounding amp. Sounds great at all gain levels. Really good amp.
Fender Telecaster '52 AVRI > Korg PB > Keeley BD-2 > Zendrive > Boss DD-3 > Boss DD-20 > Dr. Z Maz 18 > Two-Rock 212

Hit List: Two-Rock Emerald Pro/Bruno Cowtipper Pro II 35

I love my Rocker-30 combo....saving for a ppc2x12ob for a bigger stage sound , but for most applications the combo is perfect.

you know, i have played through alot of older oranges OD/OR 80's and OR120's. i use my 74 OR120 (w/matching cab...woo!) and it really does kill other amps, dead, at shows. i see why some might prefer the newer (last 8 or 9 years models) amps. but when i think of "the orange sound" i guess i don't really associate the newer amps with that. but i haven't heard that OR reissue yet - is it non master? because i feel like a 50w version of the 74 OR would be so sweet.
