Really nice job!
Yeah, I don't like the sound of the color, but then to see it, well, it grows on you! :)

It does look quite nice indeed, although I wouldn't go for a green amp myself. It's all up to how you feel about it, though, and it is REALLY well done.

Cheers! :)

Thats awesome, how do you like the telecaster with the 2 EMG's we were discussing it the other week and nobody had played it.

Wow, thanks for the positive feedback guys! Norrin, did you get your tolex from Mojo?...just curious if we have the same stuff. And yes I also sprayed the back vent on the amp.

As far as the tele goes, I don't have a lot of experience playing a regular, so I can't really compare the two, but I do love it. I played a studio les paul before this guitar and the tele won me over for sure. It just has awesome rock tones and suits my style well. You can hear it in action here: www.myspace.com/hillhavenraven I recorded with it for our newest song(top)

I got my Tolex from Humbucker. They are doing a whole limited run of Dr. Z amps in surf green and wisely bought a whole bunch of tolex for themselves - just for the purpose of selling to guys like me who want to match other heads or cabs to what they buy from HB - good business move, IMO.

AND, I did not do the tolexing myself. I sent it to this awesome guy in Michigan - very reasonably priced too. Anybody needs any tolex work done - I've got the guy for you!!! Just let me know......

I like it! Wouldn't cover my amps in that color but it came out very nice!

I would consider maybe a dark wine color or brown leather.

That looks awesome man! I love it!

A while back a couple of us posted a bunch of Photoshopped Orange amps in different colors, and that was one of my favs then too! The teal accents just totally put it over the top. Good job!
