I just had a crazy idea to trade my RV100 for a Rocker30 and PPC212. I was planning on getting the ppc212 anyway but fear that the rv100 would be too powerful for it.
In the end, it would cost me about the same. I find that I am not using the RV100 to its full potential and it is way too loud (sound guys would prob make me run it at 2-3) THERE IS NO BREAKUP AT 2-3!!!. I am not sure that the reverb or effects loop are all that important to me. I do use the loop however, but i do not use the reverb...
my main concern is the "natural" channel lacking an EQ...
What do you guys think... am I crazy?
get rid of the rv100 and get a r30 and ppc212?
Just had a crazy idea... HELP!

STOP!!!
Keep the RV100! You will be glad you did, the PPC212 will work just fine with that amp and you'll have a sound that the tone gods will envy. The RV100's clean channel is amazing and the reverb is nice along with the effects loop, these are what makes the Rockerverb 100 or 50 the great gigging amps that they're known for. If I sound passionate it's that I spent alot of money and time searching for an amp that was versatile and had great tone and the Orange Rockerverb series is the best that I've found.

well, when i tried them back to back in the store I liked the sound of the RV100 better, Just seemed to have more snarl. I would love to do a proper comparison, My dealer would let me take one home for the weekend, however then they would expect me to buy something.
I think I will be picking up a rocker 30 in the near future, just to expand my collection...
