OK...Duh...

I have a TC Electronics G-Major Effects Unit and an ADA MP-1 Preamp, also a ADA MC-1 midi controller....
I have no clue how to hook them up?
Can the one controller handle the Preamp and the effects unit?
Thanks for any help in advance...
Oh, and are all midi cables 5-pin? what's with the 9-pin ones?
Guess you can tell I have used pedals all my life!

ADA floorboard midi out, to midi in ADA MP1, midi through to TC midi in.
Should work fine.
Just make shure you've got the right midi channel.
Or else the omni mode.

Actually, does the TC system have a footcontroller too? If so, it would replace the ADA footcontroller.
If not, one controller should be able to control all that and more. My Ground Control even channel switches my Orange for me... Can you do that with the ADA footcontroller?

Don't know much, but I know I'd love to help you figure the stuff out, it's just hard over the net.
What's the footpedal look like? What's the back of the rack unit look like?

Yeap...I am as lame as they come...the now think the main midi controller is a 7 pin not nine...my new roommate is helping me so I think I Might be OK, thanks to all that replied!

Yes but they are no longer made, I am looking and waiting for one one ebay...

Your are a "Orange Duke" and your asking me a lowly "Orange Master" how to setup your electronics? That's like the President asking John Stewart to fix the economy!!! I have yet to understand what "MIDI" is actually used for in the musical world. Actually we're just tickled to have electricity in Kansas!

Actually is does, worse part is up to a couple of months ago I had one!
Very hard to find...am seaching eBay daily!

Why do you want to use an old MP-1? Don't you own an Orange?
