I'm afraid to take the leap to wireless for the very reason that I like the way my setup works. Wired works. If he wants to move around more onstage, tell him to get a longer cable. Just stay away from monster cable. :)

X2 isn't that expensive really, it'd be better to save up and keep using leads til he can afford it I think.

I say BS - my bass guy uses an older guitar Airline and sounds GREAT

he was a diehard cable man - not anymore

1. Get an X2
2. Any wireless will work for bass
3. Could be best to to get a dedicated bass system
4. Don't get a wireless, aaarggh!
