I'm wondering about the price of Fred Perry and Ben Sherman clothing out there in England. Out here, the prices are pretty ridiculous, so maybe someone can give me price examples of what it costs in England?
Out here a polo shirt is like $80 for Fred Perry and $50 for Ben Sherman. I figured since the companies are British, that they may be cheaper there.
Anyways, let me know peeps.

I know, Ben Sherman stuff is ridiculous. I've got some Sherman ties and shirts, and an awesome hoodie...but I can only afford them at Nordstrom Rack.

It's all pretty expensive unless you find it in out of town outlets who sell last season's stuff. Generally, it's priced for and aimed at young pikeys with more money than sense.
Apologies to anyone who has bought BS or FP...

I'm getting really old and cynical.
I can't understand why anybody would buy clothing AND pay a premium to wear the makers name advert on it! When I feel the need to sponsor fashion, I'll do it a bit differently
Quality yes, being made to look a pussycat, NO!
Oh and Ester, London prices are not always representative of the whole country.

Yeah, I pretty much buy all my clothes at TK Maxx. To be honest, in the UK spending a lot of money on clothes as unremarkable as that just because they have a (not very) fashionable label on them pegs you as a bit of a townie moron.
There's a video on youtube of Eddie Vedder complaining that after grunge became popular, people started making grunge-style clothing lines and selling them at a premium. He said the whole point of their "fashion" was being able to go up to your friends and saying, "Hey, see this cool shirt? I got it at a thrift store for 35 cents."
I kind of follow that principle.
