Can anyone recommend me some headphones to record with? I'm using GarageBand, and need some isolating headphones so I can hear the music without it bleeding through my mic. Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: I'd like to add that I'd like to keep it 100 dollars or under if possible.

I love my StudioKans... 29db isolation and Koss drivers.

I agree with Clay. The ATs are great cost around $65. Flat frequency curve. Good isolation. Mine are six years old and going strong.

Larry Crane, the editor of Tape-Op recommended them.

Thanks guys, I just ordered a set of AT's. Hopefully they'll come in soon so I can resume recording.

yea I use the aT's too... fantastic headphones. I've also used Sen's but they're not as isolated as the AT's.

I'm mainly looking for headphones that I can use to hear the music as I'm recording, as I do my mixing on monitor speakers. I'm sure the AT's will do a great job!

Beyerdynamics DT-770. Simply fantastic, very very comfortable, and a great sound.

I use those tried and tested old workhorses, the Beyerdynamic DT100. Very comfortable, well built, very flat, honest sound, very low 'ear fatigue' factor, and not too expensive either......
Every pro studio I have ever sessioned in uses 'em. That tells me something !!
