<br />I don't know what the hell Gibson is thinking these days... They have robots, ridiculous holes cut into guitars, ugly finishes, I don't know.

What's worse: last year Gibson discontinued production of the vaunted and apparently extremely popular SG Classic with twin P-90's. It's hard to believe that that the good folks at Gibson killed off these...

I consider myself lucky that I bough my SG Classic back in 2007.

Looks like something I would've created in shop class during the 70s while extremely high on drugs. Gibson has discontinued many models and finishes that I really love. Their whole line just looks really bland now. If you want a sparkle top or other cool finishes you gotta shell out for the custom shop prices.
Gibson have always had a process of putting new ideas in front of us conservative guitar players, and when the new modals don't achive volume sales they get dropped, like the sunburst les paul in 1960 or the original explorer or flying V or firebird. Its just Gibson being Gibson - bless them.
Here we go; three, four...
Can't even use it to row a canoe.
Might be alright for smacking some freshmen a la Dazed and Confused (uncannily enough, that's the state I think Gibson is in).
