and did a bit of improvising over some chords, i think it sounds quite good, apart from the buzzing on the rhythm track :p

i used the mic from my mac and my SG with the rocker 30.

Garageband rules. It's simple and quite deep, once you really down to it.

I'd like Logic Pro one of these days, though. But for now, Garageband suits me finely. Now that I've got my Rocker 30 atop my Avatar 112, I'm going top put my SM-57 and Nady to work.

Very cool song, BTW.

only thing i dislike about garageband is that the presets are pretty average sounding, but i wont use them any way:p so that doesnt really matter.

Agreed. I tend to only use them if I'm doing some of my "weirder" stuff.

our bass player records with logic express. we did our whole EP in it, and it sounded great. the only problem is the mastering plugins are somewhat lacking in sound quality. we had to take the CD to our friend professor def to master it, but other than that, logic express is wonderful and cheap.

granted, our s--- will sound better when we get our 8-track r2r going.
