Sorry if this has been posted in another thread somewhere.

But the Dual Terror is up on Humbucker Music, along with price. No info as of yet, but you can apparently buy it right now.

I didn't see the hard-wired or Bass Terror up there yet.

imo the price is ridiculous

in Europe it's a bit cheaper but still for that kind of money you can buy so many better amps on ebay or whatever - right now the guy in my city is selling his marshall vintage modern in mint condition for less money than this dual terror

The price is right where I predicted, and I will re-state my second prediction right now based off of the price... it will not sell anywhere as successfully as the original, which is probably the reason Orange made it, cuz the original sold so well. They won't sell half as many, at that price, you could buy many other great tube amps, especially in the used market.

i understand that not everyone wants to have big, heavy amp and just want something more portable but even if we compare prices of small amps this price is so wrong

i'm not an expert on pricing and technical stuff but i think that egnater rebel is more advanced amp than dual terror ( its singel channel but has power scalling, fx loop, dual 6v6+el84 power amp, full eq etc ) so i guess that producing dual terror shoudn't be more expensive than producing egnater rebel

and rebel is 200 $ cheaper

and for 200 $ you can buy something really cool ( like great pedal etc )

seems ok for twice the amp the TT is.

but it's too similar to the TT for me to consider, plus lately i am really missing 3 band eq to find a good spot in the mix.

they should have made one of the tone pots a shape control like thunderverb's.

good god. You can buy used R30 for not much more than that. Stupid...especially for overseas made.

Sorry. No way will I pay that much. I was saving for a Dual Terror, but that is too high. I guess I'll just keep running the 2 Tiny Terrors I have in stereo. I started to buy a Gibson Melody Maker this morning, but I held off because I wanted the Dual Terror, but now I think I'll go get it tomorrow if it's still there and the wife OK's it.

Actually, I've seen a used R30 in very good shape for literally $1 more than the price of the Dual Terror.

Perhaps that is the one-off Namm sample amp that is that price. My Godin dealer came back from Namm last year with several guitars he had bought right off of the Godin display and made me a good deal on one of them. Not that the humbuckermusic price is what I would call a good deal.

Why doesn't someone from Orange tell us how much it will be? Is it a secret? Now that they have shown it at NAMM there is nothing but silence.

well it is a 30 watter right?

I don't think the price is that awful considering the other 30 watters are upto 1500+

I remember the original tiny terrors were very expensive when they first came out. Literally only $100 less than what the dual is selling for (in canada anyway but orange in canada is insanely priced. check out LA music's website).

edit: threw in a link http://www.lamusic.ca/ (search Orange)

slightly pricier than Long & Mcquade
