Ok so I found a another 70's orange 4x12 cab w/the original rola speakers and it's in pretty good shape. Two questions:
1. What is the deal w/the rola speakers(why does everyone want'em)?
2. Is $750 a good price for this cab?
Thanks guys(for the info on the last post too!)
Another 4x12 question....

a new one costs about $100 more than that, and you get a 240 watt cabinet with V30s in it. but if you are going for that classic rock sound, then go with that one, assuming the speakers aren't all worn out and need replacing.

$750 is a good price. They are worth $1200 U.S. in very good condition. Does it have Rola speakers or Rola Celestion speakers? Also I personaly think that the old orange cabinets are very well made with good parts, Metal handels etc. The new cabs have plastic handels etc. Go for it and buy it while you can. Vintage Orange amps and cabs are getting very rare.
