According to the Orange site, the PPC 212-OB is not wide enough to put a Rockerverb 50 head on top. I contacted Orange and was told the specs were incorrect but did not get the actual dimensions (I need to follow up!).

I was wondering if anyone here had one and if so, would you be kind enough to post a pic? Short of seeing one in person, it would be great to at least see a pic of the cab/head combo before ordering.

Thanks in advance!

Humbucker Music gives the dimensions in inches, and says it's the same width as a Rockerverb head, assuming they're correct. Here's the link,

I like how the speakers are diagonally mounted in that OB 2x12.

That cab is too small for me. I like BIG open back cabs like Bogner, Marshall BB, Avatar Vintage, Stoneage 2x12C.

I was looking forward to a closed back, open back stack.

But its a shame that the cabs are differant size :(

why not just take the back off of ppc212? that'd be your bit open back orange cab.

you could definitely mod the back panel of the larger closed-back. or fabricate one yourself.

OR- check to see that the avatar contemporary backs are the same size as the orange 212s. then just buy one from them.

Now that I know that the 212-OB is not smaller width wise than the Rockerverb head (as was listed on the Orange site!) and not 12" high (as was listed on the Humbucker Music site!), I went ahead and placed my order.

Thanks for the help. :)

How much does the 212-OB weigh? According to the Orange site, it's around 44lbs but according to UPS, it's 60lbs. [:0]

Is there really 16lbs of packaging or am I getting a heavier cab than I thought?
