ahaha but seriously man I'd take any left handed guitar, and the ric does look beautiful, but I wish the real ric's were easier to get.

I remember awhile ago Tom Petty had one out and some Left handed ones were made.

It would definitely be interesting to get my hands on a firebird though, I have no clue how they feel like as they were never offered?

Back when I was about 18 I lived with a friend of mine and he ordered a Firebird. I was uber-excited, I'd always loved the look of them, so when it turned up I could hardly wait to play it.

I was so disappointed! It was the most awkward-hanging neck-heavy thing I've ever played, really uncomfortable. I noodled on it for a couple of minutes and gave it back to him, then never touched it again

They're definitly not for everybody. Try one out before you buy it. I got mine for a great deal on ebay so I never even played one, I just knew I wanted one. After about a month of playing I got used to it. Now I like it a lot.

As a lefty, I'm always pleased to see more lefty options - however, I have to say, I hate mini humbuckers. Too trebly, no balls - like everything that is bad about humbuckers and single coils rolled into one.

The signature pieces on real left-hand rics always look a bit odd to me.... like the R tailpiece and truss rod cover.

The Tailpiece keeps the R reading forward, but then reverses everything else.
The Truss Rod Cover reverses mirrors the truss rod, but then 'Rickenbacker' remains the same, so the word is no longer coming out of the end of the fret board, but it comes out of the end of the head side.... I know they had to do it, but still, it doesn't look right.
