At least in my area, Orange amplifiers were almost unheard of due to their limited availability and high price. Orange always seemed to have a small yet specific chunk of the market.
Now even my poor ass has an Orange. And looking around here and seeing the "Tiny Terror Club" and seeing just how many people have these freaking things, it really seems Orange has reached out to a much broader audience, although I still think $575 is way to much for a minimalist MIC amp, needless to say I didn't pay that much but many people seem to be grabbing at that price to get their chance at the Orange tone.
So I thought it would be interesting, how many people on here own an Orange amp that is not a Tiny Terror? I bet its less that 50%

I have a Rocker 30 head. Wouldn't mind owning a TT though. It might be minimalist(which a lot of times sounds better than a lot of 20 knob amps) and PCB, but they pack killer tone. A friend of mine who is very picky in the studio records all his dirty parts with his.
AD140 and Rockerverb 50. Also had an AD30 and Rocker 30 in the past. Would like to have a OR50 or Thunderverb 50, but will probably have to sell the AD140 to get one.

What you've got to remember is that the market for cheaper amps (even TT priced ones) is bigger than for expensive valve amps.
In general, people who want to buy TTs are those people who've played the bigger Orange valve amps and want something smaller or can't afford the big ones... and quite a few people with TTs end up getting the bigger amps after anyway.
So I don't necessarily know if that statement is true.
I have an AD30.
