Sticking 6550s in an AD140....

1st Question;
Am I going to require a mod.... or will the amp handle it with a simple bias?

2nd question;
Will it up the headroom, or just modify the frequency response?


In case you're wondering, I don't use the AD140 anymore as it's been supplanted by another amp. I do however require a bass amp, and am seriously considering modifiying my AD140 to be something along the lines of 2-channel AD200.
